Ali Al Fahady stories included various examples of narrative
dialogue showing the characters and present the events. This study
examines the dialogue in Ali Al Fahady stories through analyzing the
dialogue texts and show their artistic and aesthetic dimensions to reveal
their significances.
The study consists of an introduction and two sections. The
introduction identifies the concept of dialogue while section one
examines the external dialogue: the dual/ the convergence as related to
the compound dialogue (the descriptive analytical), the symbolic
dialogue and the dialogue without description, analysis and
symbolization. Section two deals with the internal dialogue: individual/
mono dialogue as related to monologue, conscious dialogue,
imagination and self–conversation
