God has glorified and honored knowledge, so the first word that God revealed to his Prophet was “Read”, and He raised His bearer to ranks, so He said: May God exalt those who have believed among you and those who have given knowledge to degrees. (Al-Mujahidah, 11) and imposing it on every Muslim, so the last of his prophets 9 said: “Seeking knowledge is an obligation on every Muslim.” (The Second Martyr, 11: 1041) also between knowledge and worship, so he said: “The door of knowledge that we learn is dearer to us than a thousand voluntary rak'ahs.” (Ibid: 121 (and compare Omیralamamnیn 7 between science and money, saying to his companion: «O کmیl! Science is better than money, science یhrsک and you are guarding the money and money lacks alimony and science یzکo on spending and facts money disappear Bswalh»; (ibid: 114 (and between household Infallibility: a great reward for one who walks the path of knowledge, so our greatest prophet 9 and the people of his household told us: Where he said: “Whoever is tomorrow in the pursuit of knowledge, the angels will remain upon him and bless him in his life and have not diminished his livelihood.” (Same source: 146) As the people of infallibility warned: to pay attention to the type of knowledge Its description so that it does not fill a person’s soul with what harms it or at least with what does not benefit it. One day, the Messenger of God 9 entered the mosque, and then a group of people had roamed with a man
He said: What is this?
It was said: Mark.
He said, and what is the sign?
They said: Inform the people about the genealogy of the Arabs, their facts, the days of ignorance, and the Arabic poetry. He said: «Maک aware of his ignorance does not hurt does not help his knowledge», and then said: «The knowledge of three: Any court or fair or obligatory list of the year and what Khalahn he preferred. (Al-Klenny, 1407, Part 1: 62)
All this, in short, indicates to us the religious motivation that urges us to seek and spread knowledge, as contemporary societies witness many challenges that have imposed themselves on the nature of life in them, the method of work and the work of their various organizations. Among the most prominent of these challenges are the progress these societies are witnessing in modern information and communication technologies. There has not been any era of technological progress that this era witnessed in various aspects, the most important of which is the tremendous revolution that took place in communication and information technologies, which finally culminated in the International Information Network (Internet). The technological revolution represented in information and communication technology has contributed to changing the nature of life and the form of institutions ... including educational institutions in a radical way, especially in developed countries.
These changes made an urgent need for a new type of education that accommodates information and communication technology and makes use of it in providing education that provides its students with a critical and conscious mindset capable of dealing with the flood of information and benefiting from it, taking into account the conditions of the learners and exceeding the limits of time and space, so the educated is not required to The same, and that is represented in distance education.
In fact, one of the communication technologies could not capture the interest of educators and educational researchers at the international level, just as the Internet and the World Wide Web did, in the case of the radio, for example, it took forty years for the number of its users to reach fifty million people, and it took television thirteen years to reach such The number of people, but the matter with the Internet only took four years, as this technology was able to allow every member of society - including students - the ability to study and learn in a way that allows him to control this according to his needs and capabilities regardless of his geographical location. From making use of electronic libraries, electronic books, databases upon request, direct-contact conversations, other information services and various cultural programs through the creation of many e-learning institutes and virtual (e) universities providing numerous programs on the internet (online) All parts of the world join them, and the student has only to open a specific website and enter his / her password, so he gets the text of the lecture and the questions that come B. She can also take tests and engage in dialogue with other learners and the lecturer or academic supervisor.
