Assessment of the writing skills of the first chain
(\\-4) of basic education students in Jordan
This study purports 10 assess Arabic writing ability of the rs’

- ‘The rest of the writing skills were achieved at a lower degree
(lower than good); some of them, however, were very low
indicating low achievement by ihe students.

: No statistically significant differences were found due to the
effect of the sex factor on the level of the writing skills except
three of them (°, 1, 5) where the differences were significant at
