چکیده:
هدف: هدف این پژوهش بررسی تطبیقی آرای سید مرتضی و علامه طباطبایی در چیستی عقل و کارکردهای آن از دیدگاه این دو بزرگوار بود. روش:برای بررسی عنوان این پژوهش تا رسیدن به نتیجۀ مطلوب، از شیوة توصیفی و تحلیلی استفاده شد. یافتهها: با توجه به جایگاه مهم و حجیت عقل نزد سید مرتضی و علامه طباطبایی، میتوان شش کارکرد مهم برای عقل از دیدگاه ایشان در نظر گرفت: 1. اثبات اصول و مبانی تشیّع، 2. عقل به عنوان منبع و مُدرِک، 3. تأویل و توجیه آیات و روایات ناسازگار با اصول عقلی، 4. عقل و معتبر دانستن یک خبر یا ابطال آن، 5. عقل به عنوان ابزار فهم، استنباط و تبیین متون دینی، 6. عقل و خرافهستیزی. نتیجهگیری: اگرچه سید مرتضی و علامه طباطبایی در حجیت عقل و تبیین بسیاری از کارکردهای عقل، اشتراک نظر داشتهاند؛ ولی به نظر میرسد در تعریف عقل، تبیین برخی از کارکردها، مثل تأویل و توجیه آیات و روایات ناسازگار با اصول عقلی و نوع رویکردشان نسبت به تبیین مسائل دینی با یکدیگر تفاوتهایی نیز داشتهاند. رویکرد سید مرتضی، کلامی بود؛ ولی علامه طباطبایی بیشتر با روش فلسفی با مسائل دینی مواجهه داشته است.
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to compare the views of Seyed Morteza and Allameh Tabataba'i on the nature of reason and its functions from the perspective of these two nobles. Method: Descriptive and analytical method is used to study the title of this research until it reached the desired result. Results : Considering the important position and authority of reason in Seyyed Morteza and Allameh Tabataba'i, six important functions of reason can be considered from their point of view: 1.proving Shiite philosophical Doctrrine 2.Reason as Source and Evidence 3. Interpretation and justification of verses and traditions incompatible with rational principles, 4. Wisdom and validation of a news or its refutation 5. Reason as a means of understanding, deducing, and explaining religious texts 6. Intelligence and anti-Superstition. Conclusion: Although Seyyed Morteza and Allameh Tabataba'i have shared many of the functions of reason in explaining reason, but it seems to explain some functions in the definition of reason, such as the interpretation and justification of verses and traditions incompatible with rational principles and their approach to explanation. Religious issues also differ. Seyed Morteza's approach was verbal, but Allameh Tabatabai had a more philosophical approach to religious issues.
