It is admitted that the Revelation of the Noble Qur’an in Arabic
Language; had great impact in strengthening, consolidating, rectifying and
expanding its expressional necessities. It is well observed in its meaning,
imaginations, literature, rhetoric’s and styles. Indeed the inimitability of the
Noble Qur’an had caused transcendental talent developments, leading to
great radical changes in the structure of Arabic Language, its literature
criticism and rhetoric’s. The merit of the Noble Qur’an on the Arabic
Language can be viewed through the following point of views: Strengthening
it, Expanding it through the expansion of Islam through the purification of its
words and sentences, by establishing new spiritual, ideological and
humanistic principles, establishing and developing linguistic sciences, for the
purpose of protection of the Arabic language from its assimilation within
different Aristotelian philosophies and Greece translations.
Regarding the impact and influence of the Noble Qur’an on the
Arabic language; this phenomena can be viewed as follows: The Noble
Qur’an had rescued the Arabic language from the dispersion among Arabic
regional dialects by referring them to the best and most authenticated Arabic
dialects, the Qurashi dialects, as the Noble Qur’an was revealed on the seven
dialects. The Noble Qur’an has purified the Arabic language from the foreign
elements by using the most attractive manners and expressions. The Noble
Qur’an also has introduced into Arabic Language new styles and meanings
which in the pre-Islamic period (Al Jahiliya) were not known, like Islam,
Iyman, El Furqan, Al Shirk(Polytheism), Al Kufr(Disbelieve), Al Nifaq
(Hypocrisy), Al Saum( Fasting), Al Salat( Prayer), Al Zakat ( Giving psalms
). These structural linguistic reforms done by the Noble Qur’an had attracted
the attention of the great scholars and pushed them to further developing
sciences, like the science of Morphology, Syntaxes, Rhetoric’s, Eloquent
Styles of the Arabic Language, etc. This paper will shed light on the previous
aspects, thus proving the value/merit, and the impact of the Noble Qur’an on
the Arabic language and its enrichment, by protecting it from the
assimilation.
