Introduction: Anger appears as a feeling in a person and the inability to control it leads to anger rumination and violent behavior. This study aimed to investigate anger rumination and the sociological factors affecting it among prisoners who committed violent behaviors in Yazd and Bushehr. Method: The present study is a survey-correlation study and the statistical population consists of male prisoners who committed violent behaviors (murder, assault and battery) in the central prisons of Yazd and Bushehr.
