مقدمه:
پژوهش حاضر با هدف مطالعه رابطه بین حمایت اجتماعی و عزت نفس با سبک های هویتی انجام شده است.
روش:
با استفاده از روش نمونه برداری چند مرحله ای ۲۲۴ دانشجو (۱۱۹ دختر و۱۰۵ پسر) پرسشنامه حمایت اجتماعی وکس (۱۹۸۶)، مقیاس عزت نفس روزنبرگ (۱۹۶۵) و پرسشنامه سبک های هویت (ISI) برزونسکی (۱۹۹۷) را تکمیل کردند. تحلیل یافته ها با استفاده از ضریب همبستگی و تحلیل رگرسیون انجام شد.
یافته ها:
نتایج نشان داد که عزت نفس با سبک های هویت هنجاری و اطلاعاتی رابطه مثبت و معنی دار و با سبک سردرگم/ اجتنابی رابطه منفی معنی دار داشت. بین حمایت اجتماعی با سبک های هویت هنجاری و اطلاعاتی رابطه مثبت معنی دار مشاهده شد، ولی بین سبک سردرگم/ اجتنابی با حمایت اجتماعی رابطه معنی دار مشاهده نشد. تحلیل رگرسیون نشان داد سبک های هویت اطلاعاتی و هنجاری می توانند به صورت مثبت واریانس عزت نفس و حمایت اجتماعی را تبیین کنند. سبک سردرگم/ اجتنابی پیش بینی کننده مناسب به صورت منفی برای عزت نفس بود، ولی پیش بینی کننده حمایت اجتماعی نبوده است.
نتیجه گیری:
ارزیابی سه حوزه سبک های هویت در بر دارنده اطلاعات مهمی در خصوص برخورداری از حمایت اجتماعی و سطح عزت نفس دانشجویان است.
Introduction
The aim of the present study was to investigate relationship between social support, students’ self-esteem, and identity styles.
Method
224 university students (119 girls &105 boys) in Mahmood Abad city were selected through multi stage sampling. These participants completed Social Support Questionnaire (voux, 1986) , Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965) and Identity Styles Inventory (ISI) (Brzonsky, 1997). Data was analyzed by applying regression and correlation coefficient.
Results
Results indicate that there is a significant positive correlation between self-esteem with normative and informational identity styles. However, the results show a significant negative correlation between self-esteem and confused/avoidance identity style. There was also a significant positive correlation between social support and informational and normative identity styles, while correlation between confused /avoidance style with social support was not significant.
Conclusion
findings of the study is useful in predicting positive relation between self-esteem and social support with informational and normative identity styles and negative relation between self-esteem and social support with confused /avoidance styles.
