The cult of animals is the characteristic phenomena of the ancient
Egyptian religion, where, as a habitude, the Egyptians priests has address
their gods with animal characteristics, and the Egyptians the artists confirm
this in their art works, and behind each animal there was a story or a tale or
myth, formed beside others the structure of the Egyptian theology, but in
Greece this matter was different a little, since the cult of animals taken
another manifestation, depending on the time and place, where in the early
ages some regions of Greece, explicitly, witnessed an acts of worship of
animals, because the Greeks in general delighted to trace an analogy,
sometimes quite unessential, not to say far-fetched, between their own deities
and those of the foreigners among whom they were sojourning. That was
before they refinement hah come to despise thes barbaric identifications, but
in earlier days and with simple folk it was not so. Althoughthis superficial
disclaimer, the animals cult remained as Egyptian feature evident in the
doctrines of Greece, albeit symbolic and ideological form.
