Textual context (hypertextuality) is the relationships that connect the text with other texts, either overtly or covertly. Genet's intended metatextuality is a wider level of Christian intertextuality. The function of intertextuality is to highlight the notions of relationality, interconnectedness, and interdependence in modern cultural life. The word text refers to a fabric, an interwoven texture, and therefore intertextuality is related to the notions of a lace network, texture, and a textual garment interwoven from pre-writings and pre-readings. Therefore, each text gets its meaning from the relationship of other texts, which can be drawn in different ways. Sadegh Chubak; A creative writer familiar with the new principles and techniques of conscious and unconscious story writing has used complex and various textual networks in Tangsir's novel. The purpose of the research is to investigate and analyze the five aspects of Genet's metatextuality in Sadegh Chobak's Tangsir novel. The research method is descriptive-analytical and in a library style. The findings of the research show that among the five aspects of Genet's theory of transtextuality, paratextuality and subtextuality have a stronger frequency in Tangsir's novel and are more prominent than other aspects
