One of the arenas that represents daily life and shows strength and resistance in human life is the arena of leisure. Leisure is an area where people's discretion and freedom can be exercised more. As a result, unlike work that requires more discipline, it is a suitable space for resisting established cultural practices and for creating new routines and actions. This is why they have said that leisure can create culture and reveal people's identity. Some researchers believe that the phenomenon of leisure has existed throughout the history of human life and is not specific to a specific time; But some others consider leisure as a phenomenon that is connected with industrial civilization and believe that it has two special characteristics and conditions, which are: 1- It is not influenced by compulsory ceremonies and cultural and social requirements, but is spent by the individual's will and discretion. 2- It is different from other essential activities of daily life such as eating. If these two conditions are the criterion, leisure events did not exist in the industrialized world because people were subject to social cultural requirements in spending their leisure time, such as recreation and entertainment. The fact is that today its existence and importance is the result of both the growth of industry and the consumer society. Leisure activities are so important today that they even refer to it as a mirror of society's culture.
