This article examines the average of the sense of social securityin the Iranian society from mental, financial and psychological aspects. Social Security is the main component of civil rights and in general can be divided into mental, physical, financial, psychological, environmental, medical, ethical, urban and other categories. In this regard, the author studies the possibility of criticizing the state without concern, the confidence in investment and respecting the dignity of citizens in the society as the indicators of mental, financial and psychological security respectively. Based on the results of this paper, the sense of mental and financial security is below average among the residents of 28 Iranian provincial capitals, while the sense of psychological security is above average. Meanwhile, the total average of sense of security is close to average and on a scale of Oto100, its maximum between the majority of the citizens (75 percent)is 61. Furthermore, the author compares the sense of security among different social groups and strata. The findings of the article emphasize increasing mental, financial and psychological security in the Iraniansociety.

Based on the results of this article, the sense of mental and financial security is below average among residents fifteen years old and over of 28 Iranian provincial capitals, while the sense of psychological security is above average.
A number of scholars regard security as a basically subjective phenomenon, since on the one hand it is directly related to how the elite and citizens perceive the existing threats and vulnerabilities, and on the other hand, is influenced by presumptions and previous experiences with issues such as national interests, power, values etc.
The results of a national survey on Iranians' values and attitudes demonstrate that in mental and financial aspects, the mean of sense of security is lower than average, or negative, while in the psychological aspect, it is higher than average, or positive.
