أثر تمكين المرأة في نسبة مشاركتها في القوى العاملة: دراسة تطبيقية على عينة من الدول العربية مقالة

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقدير أثر تمكين المرأة في نسبة مشاركتها في القوى العاملة، وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من خمس عشرة دولة عربية مدرجة في التقرير العالمي للفجوة الجندرية. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم بناء نموذج قياسي باستخدام بيانات زمنية مقطعية .)2015 - للمدة الزمنية ) 2006 أظهرت الدراسة أن مؤشر التمكين التراكمي كان موجبا ومعنويا على المستوى الكلي لجميع في عينة الدراسة، وعند تقسيم الدول حسب مجموعات الدخل، تبين أنه في دول الدخل المرتفع هناك أثر إيجابي ومعنوي للتمكين التراكمي للمرأة على مشاركتها في القوى العاملة، أما بالنسبة لدول الدخل المتوسط المرتفع والمنخفض، فلم يتبين أي تأثيرمعنوي لتمكين المرأة على مشاركتها في القوى العاملة.

This paper aims at investigating the impact of women empowerment on the participation of women in the labor force in Arab countries. The study sample covers Arab countries that are included in the Global Gender Gap Reports during the years 2006-2015. The study reveals that women empowerment has a significant positive impact on women’s participation in the labor force for the whole sample. According to income groups, it is found that, for high-income countries, there is a positive significant impact of women empowerment on women’s participation in the labor force. However, the results do not support any significant impact of women empowerment on women’s participation in the labor force in the upper and lower middle income countries.
