خلاصة:
هدف: در این مقاله به دنبال توصیف جایگاه ورزش در سبک زندگی دانشجویان و بررسی عوامل و موانع مؤثر بر ارتقای آن در سبک زندگی دانشجویی بوده است. روش: تحقیق حاضر با استفاده از روش مطالعات کتابخانه‌ای انجام شده است. یافته‌ها: نتایج تحقیق نشان می‌دهد دانشجویان در دانشگاههای کشور با وجود اطلاع از محاسن ورزش، اقبال لازم را به فعالیتهای بدنی نشان نمی‌دهند. نتیجه‌گیری: مهم‌ترین گامها در مسیر بهبود جایگاه ورزش در سبک زندگی دانشجویی عبارتند از: 1. تغییر نگرش دانشجویان نسبت به ورزش از طریق عواملی همچون: ارتقای دانش و اطلاعات فرد نسبت به انواع ورزش و فرهنگ‌سازی از طریق وسایل ارتباط جمعی؛ 2. نیازسنجی و جلب مشارکت مخاطب از طریق عواملی همچون: ارائۀ خدمات با کیفیت مناسب و منطبق بر ذائقۀ ورزشی جوانان و توجه به اختلافهای فرهنگی، سنی و جنسیت؛ 3. نهادینه‌سازی ورزش در سبک زندگی دانشجویان از طریق عواملی همچون: تقدّم توجه به ورزشی همگانی، جذب مربیان متخصص، توجه ویژه به دروس تربیت بدنی، تدوین فوق برنامة ورزشی منسجم برای دانشجویان ساکن خوابگاه و توجه ویژه به ایشان، نگاه ویژه به فعالیتهای ورزشی بانوان.
Objectives: This paper is concerned with description the place of sport in the students’ lifestyle and investigates the factors and obstacles that affect its promotion in the student lifestyle. Method: The present study was carried out using a library research methodology based on studies and research. Results: The results show that in the universities of the country, despite the fact that students are well-informed about the benefits of sport, they do not show a significant interest for physical activities. Conclusion: The most important steps in improving the status of sport in the student's lifestyle are: 1. to change the attitude of students toward sport through "improving knowledge and information about the types of sport "and" Culture-building through mass media". 2. Needs assessment and engagement of the audience through “Providing quality services appropriate to the youth's need" and "Attention to cultural differences, age and Gender" 3. Institutionalization of sport in the student's lifestyle through factors such as: "Priority of Attention to Public Sport", "attracting specialist coach", "paying particular attention to physical education courses", "developing a comprehensive sports program for students living in dormitories and paying special attention to them", "A special look at women's sports activities"..

در تحقيق عزيزي و همکاران(١٣٩٠)، مسئولان امور فوق برنامۀ ورزشي دانشگاهها، کمبود امکانات و تأسيسات ورزشي، بودجه ، نيروي انساني و عدم وجود برنامه ريزي را از مهم ترين عوامل بازدارندة شرکت دانشجويان در فعاليتهاي فوق برنامه دانسته اند.
٣. مديريت و برنامه ريزي ورزشي نتايج پژوهش طالب پور و همکاران(١٣٩٥) نشان داد عوامل مديريتي بر نهادينه سازي ورزش در بين دانشجويان مؤثرند.
