The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of Guttmanchr('39')s cognitive-systemic couple therapy and McMasterchr('39')s model of marital justice in conflicting couples. The research design was experimental with a random control and assignment group. A total of 60 people (30 couples) were selected as statistical samples using the available sampling method from the conflicting couples who referred to counseling and private psychology centers in areas 2 and 3 of Tehran. Couples were randomly divided into three groups (two experimental groups and one control group). First, the trial of marital justice was conducted on all three groups, then each of the experimental groups underwent ten sessions of training on Gatman-based pair therapy, McMaster-based couple therapy. After the training sessions, all three groups were retested. To test the durability of the training provided, one month after the training, both experimental groups were tested again. Repeated measurements of variance analysis showed that Guttmanchr('39')s systematic-cognitive couple therapy and McMasterchr('39')s model improved marital justice in conflicting couples. Benfronichr('39')s follow-up test showed that there was no difference between the effectiveness of Guttmannchr('39')s systematic-cognitive couple therapy and the McMaster-based couple therapy on conflicting marital justice.
