ترس از پیشرفت بیماری به عنوان یکی از مهم‌ترین سازه‌های روانشناختی از شایع‌ترین علایم پریشانی و استرس‌زا برای بیماران مبتلا به یک بیماری تهدیدکننده زندگی محسوب می‌شود. ترس از پیشرفت بیماری را می‌توان به عنوان یک ترس واکنشی، واقع بینانه تعریف کرد که فرد کاملا از آن آگاه است. هدف پژوهش، بررسی تاثیر درمان شناختی رفتاری بر ترس از پیشرفت بیماری و واکنش‌های روان شناختی بیماران مبتلا به کم‌کاری تیرویید هاشیموتو بود. برای این منظور طی یک مطالعه نیمه‌آزمایشی با پیش‌آزمون، پس‌آزمون، پیگیری و گروه کنترل، 32 نفر بیمار مبتلا به کم‌کاری تیرویید هاشیموتو از بین بیماران مراجعه‌کننده به کلینیک‌های پزشکان فوق تخصص شهر کرج به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس، انتخاب و به صورت تصادفی در دو گروه آزمایش و کنترل (16 نفر در هر گروه) قرار گرفتند. گروهها قبل و بعد از پایان مداخله و سه ماه بعد از اتمام پژوهش از نظر ترس از پیشرفت بیماری و واکنش روانشناختی مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفتند. نتایج تحلیل کواریانس با اندازه‌گیری مکرر تفاوت معناداری را بین عملکرد دو گروه آزمایش و کنترل در ترس از پیشرفت بیماری ، و واکنش‌های روانشناختی نشان داد. یافته‌ها بیانگر تاثیر درمان شناختی رفتاری بر ترس از پیشرفت بیماری و واکنش‌های روانشناختی بیماران مبتلا به کم‌کاری تیرویید بود؛ بنابراین می‌توان از این درمان به عنوان یک درمان مکمل در کنار دارودرمانی برای بهبود زندگی بیماران مبتلا به بیماری هاشیموتواستفاده کرد.
Fear of disease progression as one of the most important psychological structures is one of the most common symptoms distress and stress for patients with a life-threatening disease. Fear of disease progression can be defined as a realistic reactive fear of which the person is fully aware. The aim of study was to investigate the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on the psychological distress and fear of disease progression of patients with hashimoto's hypothyroidism. For this purpose, in a quasi-experiential study with pre-test, post-test, follow up and control group, 32 patients with hashimoto's hypothyroidism among the patients referred to clinics of subspecialty physicians in Karaj were selected by available sample and randomly divided into experimental and control groups (n= 16 each). The groups were evaluated for psychological distress and fear of disease progression before and after the treatment intervention and three months after the end of the research. The result of analysis of covariance with repeated measures showed a significant difference in fear of disease progression and psychological distress between the performance of two experimental and control groups. The results indicate the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on the fear of disease progression and psychological distress in patients with hypothyroidism; therefore, this intervention can be used as a complementary treatment, along with medication, to improve the lives of patients with hashimoto's disease.

هدف پژوهش ، بررسي تاثير درمان شناختي رفتاري بر ترس از پيشرفت بيماري و واکنش هاي روان شناختي بيماران مبتلا به کم کاري تيروييد هاشيموتو بود.
براي اين منظور طي يک مطالعه نيمه آزمايشي با پيش آزمون ، پس آزمون ، پيگيري و گروه کنترل ، ٣٢ نفر بيمار مبتلا به کم کاري تيروييد هاشيموتو از بين بيماران مراجعه کننده به کلينيک هاي پزشکان فوق تخصص شهر کرج به روش نمونه گيري در دسترس ، انتخاب و به صورت تصادفي در دو گروه آزمايش و کنترل (١٦ نفر در هر گروه ) قرار گرفتند.
با توجه به آنچه گفته شد، پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسي اثربخشي درمان شناختي رفتاري بر ترس از پيشرفت بيماري و واکنش هاي رواني بيماران مبتلا به کم کاري تيروييد انجام شد.
بحث و نتيجه گيري پژوهش حاضر با هدف اثربخشي درمان شناختي رفتاري بر ترس از پيشرفت بيماري و واکنش رواني بيماران مبتلا به تيروييد انجام شد.
نتايج تحليل نشان داد که درمان شناختي رفتاري بر ترس از پيشرفت بيماري و واکنش رواني بيماران مبتلا به تيروييد تاثير معنيداري دارد.
