One of the important methods for computational nanomechanics research is to study the effects of surface on the
behavior of materials at the nanoscale. One of the important and effective factors that increases with the ratio of
area to volume of nanostructures is the surface effect. For this purpose, continuous models have been proposed
to consider this effect due to high accuracy and computational cost at the macro scale. They are not accurate
enough. In this research, with the help of molecular dynamics simulation and using EAM potentials, the analysis
on the surface and vibration effects of FCC metal nanobeams for different boundary conditions has been
presented. Although these simulations are time consuming and costly, they are now one of the most common
methods for predicting particle properties due to their high accuracy and high application in nanoscience. In this
study, a core-shell model with continuous beam theories has been modified to be able to predict parameters
related to surface effects including elasticity, stress and surface density. For this purpose, the results of molecular
dynamics and genetic algorithm have been used. The results indicate that the modified continuous models are
very similar to the results of molecular dynamics so that they can be used to estimate the frequency of metal
nanotubes without the need for re-simulation.
