حادثۀ عاشورای سال 61 هجری قمری، بخش مهمّی از کتب تاریخی را از قرن سوم به بعد، به خود اختصاص داده‌است. مورّخان متقدّم، مانند تطبری، ابن اعثم کوفی و بلاذری عمدتاً از کتبی مانند مقتل ابی مخنف برای روایت عاشورا بهره بردند. نویسندگان بعدی نیز گزارش خود را بر اساس بهره‌گیری از کتب مورّخان پیشین بنا نهادند. ابن شهرآشوب، در کتاب «مناقب آل ابی‌طالب» تلاش کرده‌است تا به شرح مناقب و فضائل پیامبر اسلام و امامان معصوم بپردازد. بنابراین او ناگزیر از پرداختن به واقعۀ عاشورا، از کتاب تاریخ طبری و الفتوح ابن اعثم کوفی استفاده کرده‌است. در پژوهش حاضر، تلاش شده‌است تا روایت ابن شهرآشوب از روز عاشورا با روایت منقول در تاریخ طبری و الفتوح ابن اعثم بر اساس نظریۀ فزون‌متنیت ژنت سنجیده شود. فزون‌متنیت نظریه‌ای است که به رابطۀ میان متون می‌پردازد؛ به نحوی که این رابطه از نوع شرح و تفسیر نباشد. بر اساس این نظریه، متن الف که متقدّم بوده و پیش‌متن نامیده می‌شود، منبع و الهام بخش متن ب یعنی بیش‌متن خواهد بود. بر اساس بررسی و مقایسۀ متون مذکور مشخّص شد که ابن شهرآشوب در دو سطح پیرفت و گزاره، به شیوۀ التقاطی از منابع استفاده کرده‌است. همچنین بیشترین گشتار اعمال شده در روایت او، از نوع گشتار کمّی (برش) بوده‌است.
The event of Ashura in the year 61 AH has allocated an important part of historical books from the third century onwards. The early historians, such as Tabari, Ibn Atham Kufi and Balazeri, mainly used books such as the Muqtal of Abi Makhnaf to narrate Ashura. Later writers also based their report on the use of previous historians' books. In the book "Manaqib A’l Abi Talib", Ibn Shahrashoub has tried to explain the merits and excellences of the Prophet of Islam and the infallible imams. Therefore, he inevitably used the book of Tarikh al-Tabari and Al-Futuh of Ibn Atham Kufi to deal with the event of Ashura. In the present study, an attempt has been made to compare the narration of Ibn Shahrashoub about the Day of Ashura with the quoted narration in Tabari's Tarikh and Al-Futuh of Ibn Atham based on the theory of hypertextuality of Genet. Hypertextuality is a theory that deals with the relationship between texts; In such a way that this relationship is not of the description or interpretation type. According to this theory, text A, which is advanced and called pretext, will be the source and inspiration of text B (hypertext). Based on the review and comparison of the mentioned texts, it was determined that Ibn Shahrashob has used sources in an eclectic manner on two levels of predicate and proposition. Also, the most transformation applied in his narration was of quantitative one (cut).
