خلاصة:
پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین تفاوت عامل‌های شخصیتی دبیران ریاضی موفق و ناموفق صورت گرفت. این پژوهش از نوع علی- مقایسه‌ای بود. جامعه این پژوهش، شامل دبیران ریاضی موفق و ناموفق شهر تبریز بود که به‌صورت هدفمند در نواحی پنج‌گانه آموزش و پرورش تبریز ، تعداد 100 نفر (50 نفر از هر گروه) انتخاب و به سیاهه‌ی بازنگری‌شده‌ی شخصیتی نئو (NEOPI-R) پاسخ دادند. داده‌ها با استفاده از روش تحلیل واریانس چندمتغیره تحلیل شد. نتایج نشان داد که دو گروه مورد مطالعه در ترکیب متغیرهای مورد مطالعه با یکدیگر تفاوت معنی‌دار داشته و در عامل‌های شخصیتی برونگرایی، گشودگی، توافق‌پذیری و مسئولیت پذیری، میانگین دبیران موفق، بیشتر از دبیران ناموفق و در مؤلفه‌ی روان رنجورخویی، میانگین این گروه کمتر از دبیران ناموفق است. مبتنی بر یافته‌ها، برونگرایی، گشودگی، توافق‌پذیری و مسئولیت پذیری می‌توانند از مسیر فعال بودن، قاطعیت، نوع‌دوستی، خوش قلبی، کنجکاوی ذهنی و استقلال، اجتماعی بودن و وظیفه‌شناسی زمینه موفقیت دبیران را فراهم می‌آورند و روان‌رنجوری بواسطه خشم و خصومت و ناپایداری به موقعییت دبیران آسیب وارد می‌کند. نتیجه اینکه این پژوهش در هنگام گزینش دبیران توجه به عامل‌های شخصیتی مثبت و منفی ضروری می‌نماید.
The aim of this study was to determine the differences between the personality traits of successful and unsuccessful math teachers. This study was conducted with a comparative method. The study population included successful and unsuccessful math teachers in Tabriz. Therefore, 100 people were selected (50 subjects in each group) in the five education districts of Tabriz and completed the NEO-PI-R. Data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance. The results showed that the two groups were significantly different in the personality factors of extroversion, openness, agreeableness and consciousness. Successful teachers had a higher average than unsuccessful teachers and in the component of neuroticism, the average of this group was less than the unsuccessful teachers . Consequently, extroversion, openness, agreeableness, and consciousness can lead teachers to be succeed through activity, assertiveness, altruism, good-heartedness, mental curiosity and independence, sociality, as well as conscientiousness. Neuroticism makes problems for teachers through anger, hostility ,and instability. Hence, during the process of selecting teachers, positive and negative personality traits should be considered
