خلاصة:
پژوهشگران تجربهگرا از آغاز قرن نوزدهم مبنای علم و به تبع آن معنای آن را دگرگون ساختند. اگر پیش از آن، شعاع دایرهٔ معرفت، تمامی علوم و دانشهای بشری اعم از عقلانی، وحیانی، حسی و... را به رسمیت میشناخت، پس از عصر روشنگری و تفسیر تجربی و حسی تجربهگرایان و پوزیتیویستهای متقدم و منطقی از علم، طول این شعاع روز به روز کاسته میشد تا بدانجایی که «حس»، تنها مرجع معتبر برای به محک آزمون کشاندن صدق و کذب یک گزاره و در نتیجه علمی و غیرعلمی بودن آن شناخته شد. پژوهشگران تجربهگرا پس از تعیین تعریفی معرفتشناسانه و مشخص از علم، منطقی روششناختی و طبعاً تجربه گرایانه برای آن پی ریخته و علاوه بر علوم طبیعی، سعی در تعمیم و بسط آن به حوزهٔ علوم اجتماعی نیز کردند. این مقاله در ابتدا به شکلی موجز به تبیین مفهوم تجربه گرایی و پوزیتیویسم و سیر تکوین و تکامل و تعمیم آن به علوم اجتماعی پرداخته و پس از آن به تحلیل و بررسی نقدهای تئودور آدورنو (به عنوان یکی از اعضای اصلی مکتب فرانکفورت) به این مکتب و همچنین پوزیتیویستهای منطقی و عقل گرایان انتقادی میپردازد و در نهایت چرایی ناشایستگی و نابایستگی تعمیم مطلق منطق روششناختی حاکم بر پژوهشهای تجربی و پوزیتیویستی را به حوزهٔ علوم اجتماعی از منظر وی تبیین میکند.

After the Enlightenment and empirical interpretation of science, The only valid reference for testing the truth or falsity of a proposition was sensory experience. Empiricist researchers after Developing an epistemological and Methodological logic for natural Science, Tried to extend it to social sciences. This article first into a short and concise form explains empiricism and positivism and change, evolution and Extension history of them and then analysis and explains Theodor Adorno's criticism views of empirical research and its transfer to the social sciences (As one of the original members of the school Frankfurt) and finally shows that: why From the perspective of Adorno we should not extend empirical methods to social sciences? And basically, What is the danger of transfer of the methodological foundations of natural/empirical sciences to social sciences?
