یکی از عوامل بسیار مؤثر در توسعه گردشگری، تبلیغ و اطلاع‌رسانی از طریق فضای مجازی است. شبکه‌های مجازی با داشتن نقش‌هایی چون فرهنگ‌سازی، آموزش، اطلاع‌رسانی و ایجاد مشارکت اجتماعی در توسعه صنعت گردشگری نقش تعیین‌کننده‌ای دارند، هدف اصلی مقاله حاضر "بررسی موانع توسعه گردشگری در حوزه فضای مجازی" است. پژوهش حاضر از نظر هدف، توسعه‌ای - کاربردی بوده و از حیث شیوه اجرا در زمره پژوهش‌های آمیخته اکتشافی قرار دارد که به جمع‌آوری، تحلیل و ترکیب داده‌های (کمی و کیفی) به منظور درک بهتر سؤال‌های تحقیق پرداخته است. جامعه آماری این تحقیق را اساتید ارتباطات آگاه و فعال در حوزه گردشگری فضای مجازی، فعالان حوزه گردشگری فضای مجازی و دست‌اندرکاران تبلیغات گردشگری فضای مجازی، مدیران دفاتر خدمات خدمات گردشگری فعال در یکی از شبکه‌های اجتماعی و کارشناسان IT و بازاریابی تشکیل می‌دهند. ابزار اندازه‌گیری پرسش‌نامه و مصاحبه تخصصی نیز بر اساس روش نمونه‌گیری هدفمند است. با توجه به نتایج به دست آمده نبود قوانین و ضوابط مشخص در حوزه گردشگری، عدم حمایت دولت و نهادهای مرتبط و سوداگری و ورود غیرحرفه‌ای‌ها به این شغل، نبود اتحادیه، انجمن یا تشکل صنفی و نیز فقدان نهادهای آموزشی در این حوزه به عنوان مهم‌ترین موانع توسعه گردشگری در حوزه فضای مجازی محسوب می‌شوند.

Virtual networks have a decisive role in the development of the tourism industry, with roles such as culture building, education, information and creating social participation, the main goal of this article is to investigate the obstacles to the development of tourism in the field of virtual space. In terms of the goal, the current research is applied-development, and in terms of the method of execution, it is among mixed exploratory researches, which collects, analyzes and combines data (quantitative and qualitative) in order to better understand the research questions.The statistical population of this research consists of communication professors who are knowledgeable and active in the field of virtual space tourism, activists in the field of virtual space tourism, managers of tourism service offices active in one of the social networks, and IT and marketing experts. The measuring instrument of questionnaire and expert interview is also based on the purposeful sampling method. According to the results obtained, there are no specific rules and regulations in the field of tourism, lack of support from the government and related institutions, and speculation and the entry of non-professionals into this job, the absence of a union, association or trade union, as well as the lack of educational institutions in this field as The most important obstacles to the development of tourism are considered to be in the field of virtual space.
