بخش مهمی از زایش و پویش علوم ریاضی کلاسیک، مدیون ایرانیان در فرایند تمدن اسلامی است که در پی اجرای سیاست و درایت دولت‌ها و دانشمندان عصر بویهی، سلاجقه و ایلخانی به دست آمد، بنابراین می‌توان گفت: از پدیده‌های مهم تاریخ علم و تاریخ اجتماعی دوره میانه اسلامی، توسعه فوق العاده و هم‌زمان علوم ریاضی و مذهب تشیع در عصر ایلخانی است که اغلب با تدبیر سیاسی-علمی خواجه نصیرالدین طوسی همراه بود. مغولان که برخی از مورخان نحوه و آثار ورود آنان به ایران را با تصرف آن توسط اعراب مسلمان مشابه می‌پندارند، مرحله‌ای از تحول و تطور تاریخ علوم ریاضی را در ایران رقم زدند. مراغه و تبریز به مرکز فعالیت دانشمندان و پایتخت علمی ایلخانی مبدل گشت و علوم عقلی و نقلی اسلامی و خاصه علوم مربوط به شیعی توسعه شگرفی یافت، موضوعی که به روشنی تبیین نشده است، از این‌رو، مقاله حاضر در صدد است به روش توصیفی-تحلیلی و با مطالعات کتابخانه‌ای به این سئوال پاسخ دهد که: جزئیات دستاوردهای علمی در حساب، جبر، هندسه و مثلثات چه بوده است؟ یافته‌های این پژوهش، نشان می‌دهد در این دوره، با اوج گیری تولید ارصاد و نگارش زیج‌ها به چنان نوآوری‌های شگفت انگیزی دست پیدا کرد که به کالای رایج صادراتی به اروپا تبدیل گشت.

Maragheh and Tabriz became the center of activity of scientists and the scientific capital of the Ilkhanate, and the Islamic intellectual and transmission sciences, especially the sciences related to Shia It has developed tremendously, a subject that has not been clearly explained, therefore, the present article aims to answer this question through a descriptive-analytical method and library studies: the details of scientific achievements in arithmetic, algebra, and geometry. And what was trigonometry? The findings of this research show that in this period, with the rise of the production of meteorological instruments and the writing of Zijs, such innovations were It gained popularity and became a common export product to Europe.
