This article is an attempt to investigate the role of political, socioeconomic and structural challenges, issues and problems of the countries of the South Asian region, which is analyzed and analyzed based on Karl Deutsch's theory of regional convergence. The main question of the article is what effect these challenges have on Afghanistan's foreign policy. With the mentioned question, the hypothesis is put to the test that the differences between the countries of the region, mistrust and lack of political determination is one of the important problems of the countries of the region in order to achieve regional integration, and this itself is the foundation for instability and the influence of extra-regional countries, especially in the western world and The research findings show that regional convergence will be possible if there is a determination of strategy, strategic formulation of cooperation and serious activity of all countries in the region, which is the best way to create stability and balance in this region. To include all the countries of the region and ensure the security of the region with the cooperation of all the countries of the region and collectively.
