روان‌شناسی سیاسی، شاخه‌ای میان رشته‌ای و ترکیبی از رشته روان‌شناسی و علوم سیاسی است. در واقع این علم به بررسی رفتار و فرآیندهای انسان در تعامل با سیاست و عملکرد سیاسی می پردازد. پردازش اطلاعات، استراتژی یادگیری، جامعه پذیری و شکل نگرش سیاسی هستند. در این بین کاری که روان‌شناسان انجام می‌دهند بررسی رفتار و نگرش‌ها و طرز تفکر افراد سیاست‌مدار در ارتباط با تصمیماتی که می‌گیرند، می‌باشد. چرا که بر اساس باور این علم تصمیمات یک فرد سیاست‌مدار یا افراد در ساختار سیاست‌گذاری به شدت تحت تأثیر عواملی هم‌چون رفتار و تفکر این افراد می باشد که ریشه در دوران کودکی، محیط خانواده، محیط جامعه، ژنتیک و حتی رشته های اعصاب آن‌ها دارد. بر این اساس و با شناخت نسبت به این علم و تأثیری که بر رفتار سیاست‌مداران می گذارد، مقاله حاضر با استمداد جستن از این علم در چارچوب تئوری خلق‌گرایی و موقعیت‌گرایی بر اساس نظریات زیگموند فروید و کارل گوستاو یونگ به بررسی عوامل روان‌شناختی تأثیرگذار در تصمیمات سیاست خارجی دو رئیس جمهور ایران -سید محمد خاتمی و محمود احمدی نژاد- و همچنین توضیح و تبیین تصمیمات سیاست خارجی آن ها می پردازد. اما با توجه به این که دسترسی به اطلاعات سیاست‌مداران چه در زمینه شخصی و فردی و چه در حوزه کاری، جزو اسناد و مدارک محرمانه به حساب می آید و دسترسی به آن برای دیگران نسبتاًغیرممکن می‌باشد، در این نوشته برای بدست آوردن اطلاعات درست، با استفاده از جمع‌آوری اطلاعات و روش توصیفی و تحلیلی با مطالعه آثار فارسی و خارجی چاپ شده در زمینه موضوع مقاله حاضر، به تحقیق و واکای پرداخته شده است.
Political psychology is an interdisciplinary branch and a combination of psychology and political science. In fact, this science examines human behavior and processes in interaction with politics and political performance. Information processing, learning strategy, socialization and form of political attitude. In the meantime, what psychologists do is to examine the behavior and attitudes and thinking of politicians in relation to the decisions they make. Because according to the belief of this science, the decisions of a politician or people in the policy-making structure are strongly influenced by factors such as the behavior and thinking of these people, which are rooted in their childhood, family environment, community environment, genetics and even their nerves. Based on this and knowing about this science and the effect it has on the behavior of politicians, this article, by referring to this science in the framework of the theory of creationism and situationism based on the theories of Sigmund Freud and Carl Gustav Jung, investigates the psychological factors influencing policy decisions. Foreign affairs of the two presidents of Iran - Seyyed Mohammad Khatami and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - and also explains their foreign policy decisions. But due to the fact that access to the information of politicians, both in the personal and individual context and in the work field, is considered as a confidential document and it is relatively impossible for others to access it, in this article to get the correct information, with The use of data collection and descriptive and analytical method by studying Persian and foreign works published in the subject of this article has been researched and verified.
