تعد المؤشرات الصحية من المقومات الرئيسة لتحقيق التنمية الشاملة، وذلك بفضل ما تقدمه للسكان من خدمات تحافظ على حياتهم وتمد في أعمارهم لأنها حق من حقوق الانسان الأساسية، كما انها دليل أساس ي لقياس مستوى التنمية المستدامة. ولما لها من أهمية، فإن أي قصور أو هشاشة في تلك الخدمات ومستوياتها سينعكس سلبا على كافة جوانب الحياة التي يعد الانسان أحد أركانها الأساسية. يهدف البحث الى التعرف على مستويات مؤشرات التنمية المستدامة في العالم العربي، ومدى تحقيقها لأهدافها، تحديدا المؤشرات الصحية، ودرجة تفعيلها في بعض المعايير الاجتماعية التي تقف عندها مثل وفيات ا لأطفال حديثي الولادة )الرضع(، ووفيات الاطفال دون الخامسة، ووفيات الأمهات، ودليل العمر المتوقع عند الميلاد.
Health indicators are one of the main ingredients for achieving comprehensive development, and this is due to the services they provide to the population that preserve their lives and extend their lives because they are a basic human right, and they are a basic guide to measuring the level of sustainable development. Because of their importance, any shortcoming or fragility in these services and their levels will negatively affect all aspects of life, of which the human being is one of the basic pillars.
The research aims to identify the levels of sustainable development indicators in the Arab world, the extent to which they achieve their goals, specifically the health indicators, and the degree to which they are activated in some social standards that stand at them, such as the mortality of new-borns (infants), the mortality of children under five, maternal mortality, and the life expectancy at birth.
