Understanding the structure of decision-making in,-=.·.foreign policy needs in-depth studies involving differentelements and factors. Foreign policy decisions could be evaluated as action, reaction or response to environment. The author discusses that Iran is one of the few countries in which impact of national culture on social and political llfe as well as on foreign policy is not only undeniable but also has become evident after the Islamic Revolution. He mentions the most important factors influencing Iran's foreign policy including war between good and evil; justice, equity and struggle with oppression; national pride, nationalism and schizophrenia; and promotion of benevolent actions and renouncing the world. The author refers to the changes in Iran's diplomatic styles and concludes that this change in diplomatic norm should be considered as originated from Islam and its teachings, because ancient Iranians were complying strictly with protocols and customs regarding diplomatic affairs. Impact of Public Culture Here, we begin our discussion with this point that Iran is one of the fewest countries that impact of its national culture on its social and political life and also its foreign policy is not only undeniable but also has become concrete and obvious after the Islamic Revolution. Y'He considers that this point is the reason for returning to Iranian nationalism and writes: "the government (Rafsanjani and the leader) facing with apparent failure oflslamic policy, thinks about new political allies to safeguard Islamic regime and to strengthen security measures.
