Abstract:
Most of the topics that are being studied and written about by the scholars of Quran sciences are the Holy Quran and the Sacred Hadith. These scholars referred to these topics’ distinctive features on the basis of which, they point out the differences between the Holy Quran and the Sacred Hadith and that of Prophet’s Sayings. The scholars have previously and recently a different view about the issue of a Sacred Hadith. Some of them consider that its uttering and meaning are from Allah the Almighty, but the Prophet (pbuh) is its narrator, and some of them consider that its meaning is from Allah and its uttering is from the Prophet (peace be upon him). It is an issue that, I believe, depends on the sounding of the words of the Sacred Hadiths, and the reflection on them, to reach the most likely conclusion. This research addressed this issue as, in the first section, it pointed out the distinct features of the Quran, its lexicographical and terminological definition, by following the views of the scholars in that matter until arriving at the definition that distinguishes it, with some important notes about the selected definition. The researcher, then, pointed out the distinct features of the Hadith and its lexicographical and terminological definition, taking into account the different words and narratives, and the differences of the scholars about the uttering of Sacred Hadith from as it is from Allah almighty or from his Prophet, and the origin of the saying is that his word is from the Prophet (pbuh) and its meaning from Allah, and its relation to the question of how Jibril bears the Qur'an as being about Allah the Almighty, and then the most correct view is that the Holy Hadith is an uttering and meaning from Allah the Almighty, and that it is from the narration of the saying about Allah the Almighty. In the second section, the researcher dealt with the divisions of the Hadith based on what was followed in the first section, with exemplification from the Sacred Hadiths, which were not purely from the narration of the saying, and what was not entirely from the narration of the situation, and what included the narration of the saying and the narration of the situation together in one hadith. In the third section, the researcher presented the differences between the Holy Quran and the Sacred Hadith, based on the findings arrived at in the previous two sections. The research concluded with the most important results and recommendations.
