The findings revealed that years of teaching experience have an influence on teachers' emotional intelligence and self-efficacy.
It can be claimed that the ability to recognize and handle emotions has direct relationship with higher sense of efficacy which would have powerful effects on teachers' control orientations and control behaviors; their use of classroom discussions and innovative teaching practices, their responses to learners who are difficult to teach, their levels of stress and their satisfaction with the teaching profession (Tschannen-Moran, and Woolfolk Hoy, 1998).
In line wiht this trend, the current study investigated the influence of EFL teachers' age, gender, and years of teaching experience on their EI and self-efficacy."
