چکیده:
زمینه و هدف: سندرم فیبرومیالژی بیماری های مزمن اسکلتی عضلانی با اتیولوژی ناشناخته ای است که با نشانه های اصلی درد منتشر در سراسر بدن و نقاط حساس متعدد شناخته می شود. هدف از این مطالعه بررسی کیفیت زندگی بیماران فیبرومیالژی مراجعه کننده به درمانگاه طب فیزیکی و توانبخشی بیمارستان بقیه الله (عج) می باشد.
مواد و روش ها: بیماران مراجعه کننده به درمانگاه طب فیزیکی و توانبخشی توسط یک پزشک متخصص تحت پرسش های لازم در رابطه با وجود درد منتشر مزمن، احساس خستگی، اختلال خواب، سن، شاخص توده بدنی، میزان تحصیلات و تعداد فرزندان قرار گرفتند. برای بررسی کیفیت زندگی، از تست 36-SF استفاده شد. همچنین برای ارزیابی میزان درد، از معیار اندازه گیری بینایی درد استفاده شد. تشخیص ابتلا به سندرم فیبرومیالژی بر اساس معیارهای تشخیصی American College of Rheumatology (ACR) توسط همان پزشک، صورت پذیرفت.
نتایج: در بررسی انجام شده بر روی 59 بیمار مراجعه کننده به بیمارستان بقیه الله (عج)، نتایج نشان داد که رابطه آماری معنی داری بین کیفیت زندگی و درد (0.02=p)، سن بیمار ( 0.01=p)، شاخص توده بدنی(0.04=p) و خشکی صبحگاهی(0.001=p) وجود دارد. اگرچه، بین میزان تحصیلات و کیفیت زندگی رابطه آماری معنی داری وجود ندارد (0.09=p). همچنین با توجه به یافته ها، کیفیت زندگی در تمام اجزاء، به خصوص اجزاء فیزیکی و جسمانی، تحت تاثیر بیماری فیبرومیالژی می باشد.
بحث: با توجه به یافته های مطالعه، کیفیت زندگی بیماران مبتلا به فیبرومیالزی تحت تاثیر عوامل متعددی از قبیل درد منتشر، شاخص توده بدنی، سن بیمار، خشکی صبحگاهی می باشد.
Background & Purpose: Fibromyalgia syndrome is a chronic disease with unknown etiology musculoskeletal pain and tender points throughout the body are numerous. The aim of this study was to measure quality of life in patients with fibromyalgia syndrome that referred to Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation clinic in Baqiyatallah Hospital. Methods & Materials: Patients that referred to Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic by a trained physician were asked about diffuse chronic pain، fatigue، sleep disturbance، age، body mass index، level of education and number of children. To assess quality of life، 36-SF questionnaire was used. Also to assess pain، Visual Analog Scale (VAS) was used. The same physician did a thorough physical examination with special attention to the tender points in order to diagnose fibromyalgia according to the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) criteria. Results: In the study of 59 patients referred to the Baqiyatallah hospital، the findings showed that there was statistically significant relationship between quality of life and pain (p=0.002)، age (p=0.01)، body mass index (p=0.04) and morning stiffness (p=0.001). However، there is no statistically significant relationship between level of education and quality of life (p=0.09). Also، according to the finding، all quality of life components، especially the physical components، is affected by Fibromyalgia syndrome. Conclusion: According to the study findings، the quality of life of fibromyalgia patients affected by multiple factors such as diffuse chronic pain، body mass index، age، morning stiffness.
