The aim of current research was to study the role of the positive psychological construct of resiliency and psychological hardness in the prediction of psychological well-being toward mothers of children with adaptive-cognitive disabilities. The design of research was a correlational type. The statistical population included all of the mothers of children with cognitive-adaptive disabilities in 2018-2-19. In the same vein, by convenience sampling 80 mothers from this group were selected and Beshart’s psychological well-being, Kobasa’s psychological hardness and Conner & Davidson’s resiliency inventories were used to gather the data. The Pearson’s correlation coefficient indicated that both of resiliency and psychological hardness have a significant relationship with psychological well-being and multiple regression revealed that both of them can predict the psychological well-being in mothers of children with cognitive-adaptive disabilities. Doing more research is needed to achieve evidence-based practice, and developing and implement of educational programs included resiliency and psychological hardness to improve of psychological well-being of mothers of children with cognitive-adaptive disabilities are needed.
