چکیده:
Parenting is defined as a transformation process and applying appropriate knowledge and skills to plan, nurture and provide child care and an essential factor in the "children's personality development. Parenting styles are methods used by parents to raise children. An effective way to solve the issues caused by these mental health problems is to comprehend the relationship between today's mental health problems and childhood problems can be. One who knows that moodiness, aggression, and intolerance are caused by childhood anxiety and anger can better control and correct these mood swings and aggression. As the first teacher of children, parents have many duties and roles, including regular monitoring of their healthy growth and creating a calm, relaxing environment. This study examines the relationship between parenting styles and aggression of elementary school students in Tehran. The findings showed a relationship between democratic parenting style and physical aggression, hostility, anger, and verbal aggression, except aggression. The relationship between democratic parenting style and aggression and its components was inverse.

Thus, although parents have a great deal of control over their children's behavior in both methods, in Authoritarian parenting, they avoid the psychological control of their children (Darling, 1999).
There was no relationship between authoritarian parenting style and aggression, verbal aggression, hostility, anger, and physical aggression.
The family and the way parents treat and educate play the central and most important role in the development of behavioral, personality and social problems in their children.
