چکیده:
The aristocratic spirit that was so prevalent in France in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries is characterized by the "distinctive and privileged behavior" of prominent social classes. In addition to the jealous and critical view that forms the basis of the social life of this period and depicts the inferiority of other sections of society, ridicule and the pleasure of doing bad deeds are other characteristics of the aristocratic spirit. Valmont and Madame de Mortavi in Laclo's Dangerous Relationships are two important examples of these vicious aristocrats in classical French literature. In this article, we will examine bad literature in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century French literature.
