The aim of this study is to create a model for analyzing human-environment interactions with emphasis on environmental psychology in Qajar houses in Tabriz. Accordingly, due to the lack of theoretical basis, researchers using the Grand Theory method to conceptualize this model based on the Qajar houses of Tabriz. Accordingly, in order to collect the required data, in-depth interviews were conducted with 25 experts in the field of environmental psychology, historical heritage and architecture, and 625 initial codes were obtained. The comparison of categories was reduced to 125 secondary categories. Finally, after screening and axial coding, the created categories were included in 3 main categories with 40 subcategories. Accordingly, causal factors included the three categories of "human material and spiritual needs", "worldview or human thought" and "environmental body". In relation to the intervening factors, factors such as "past experiences", "motivations", "individual mental defense mechanism", "culture", "beliefs", etc. were obtained. Also in the field of contextual factors, elements such as "material needs", "mental needs", "spiritual needs", "individual contexts of thought", "social contexts of thought" and ... were selected. At the level of strategies, categories such as "meeting human needs by homes", "using the opinions of experts in various fields in design", "humanistic design with emphasis on the balance of human-environment relations" and ... Became.
