Text coherence is one of the most
important signs of literary coherence
among old scientists of Rhetoric and
new linguists. They paid attention to
this language symbol and considered it
as a basic feature which leaded into
text differentiation and transcending
value and its importance over other
texts and if the text does not include
this feature, it will face with a big
problem and its foundations will shake
sharply. “Michael Halliday” and
“Roghieh Hassan” two famous
researchers of Linguistic in new era
have presented a Linguistic theory
named “Role-oriented flow” and said
that one text should contain three
pillars of coherence which are named:
grammatical and vocabulary cohesion
and bonding coherence. This research
has chosen sermon of “Fatemeh Zahra”
to distinguish relational coherence and
four elements in it and perform exact
review of devices in this rhetoric
beautiful sermon and express the
benefits of its cohesion and its devices
in the course of the sermon. The results
show that Fatemeh Zahra used
connective devices especially extra
relevance evidently in her sermon by
letters appropriate to the coherence. It
is clear that her method of description
and interpretation in her sermon is one
of the most important reason of
incidence and emergence of this device
among other connective ones. This
research reviews samples of connective
relation in analytical- statistical form
relying on descriptive- analytical
method in Fadak Sermon.
