eirteenth Legislative Assembly ended inDecember 1922, and aer a hundred days of inauguration,
the Fourteenth Parliament was inaugurated in March 1322. In fact, the 14th Majlis was the longest,
most competitive, and most important election in Iran during the Pahlavi era. Following the Allied
invasion of Iran and the removal of Reza Shah from the power of fierce campaigns to secure the seats
of the 14th Majlis, various political parties had been given the opportunity to campaign for the first
time. e important point in the Fourteenth Parliament was the influence of the shadow of the Allies
and the reforms formed in this House. e purpose of this article is to examine the situation in the
country aer Reza Shah›s ouster and the formation of the 14th Majlis and the changes that have
taken place in this country in the specific circumstances of the country. Following Reza Shah›s ouster
and despite people›s hopes for an ecient parliament aer the tyranny of the Shah, the developments
in parliament reflect a sharp divide between MPs and factions in parliament with the support of
foreign governments and a lack of attention to the country›s situation, with little representation in the
country›s interests (politics). Negative balance) challenged the opposition.
