چکیده:
Purpose: Considering the high prevalence of emotional divorce in families, examining its patterns based on different variables can help specialists and planners. As a result, the aim of this research was examining the pattern of emotional divorce based on differentiation with the mediating role of attachment styles and we-ness experience.
Methodology: This was a descriptive study from type of correlation. The research population was parents of students referred to counseling centers of Tehran city in 2020 year with number of 1836 people. The sample size was determined by SPSS Sample Power software as 350 people and this number was selected by multi-stage random method. Data were collected with the emotional divorce scale (Gottman, 2008), differentiation inventory (Skowron and Freidlander, 1998), attachment style questionnaire (Collins and Read, 1990) and we-ness experience questionnaire (Vedes, Bodenmann, Nussbeck, Randall and Lind, 2013) and were analyzed by path analysis method in SPSS and Smart PLS software.
Findings: The findings showed that the pattern of emotional divorce based on differentiation with the mediating role of attachment styles and we-ness experience had a good fit. Also, differentiation had a direct and significant effect on attachment styles, we-ness experience and emotional divorce, and attachment styles and we-ness experience had a direct and significant effect on emotional divorce (P
Conclusion: Considering the pattern of emotional divorce based on differentiation with the mediating role of attachment styles and we-ness experience, it is necessary to plan to reduce emotional divorce through the mentioned variables and without a doubt, the designed programs should be implemented by competent professionals.
