com Received: 2022/09/18 - Accepted: 2023/02/12 Abstract In this research, the educational implications of the genealogical research method from Foucault's point of view and its criticism based on Allameh Tabatabai's point of view are discussed.
Allameh Tabatabai's desired education has features such as emphasis on genealogy research method, integrity and purposefulness of history and system of existence, belief in intrinsic absoluteness, monotheism and belief in prior knowledge; these cases can be used as criteria for criticism of Foucault's education.
