چکیده:
Introduction: The primary objective of this study is to provide a curriculum model based on a brain-centered approach with an emphasis on interaction and motivation in high school.
Methods: A qualitative approach, a field method, and semi-structured in-depth interviewing techniques were employed to accomplish this objective. The research population included specialists, subject matter experts, prominent researchers in the field of curriculum development, as well faculty members. 15 participants were interviewed using the purposive sampling method and the theoretical saturation of the findings.
Semi-structured interviews and texts were used as data collection instruments, and inductive theme analysis was used for data analysis.
Results: The findings of the study revealed that Goals, content, teaching techniques, and assessment methods were identified as the components of curriculum design that affect the interaction and motivation of the students. Objectives include indicators of changing mental images, real-time learning environment, adaptability of brain-centered curriculum, and information storage during learning; content includes the development of brain ability, the basis of brain function, learning based on cognition, content comprehension, involvement of body and brain activity; teaching methods include learning in action, learning in the environment, cooperation in classroom activities, different learning styles, responsibility of learning to students, effectiveness of education, purposive and conscious teaching, continuous processing of information; evaluation method include self-evaluation, easy understanding in learning, flexibility in learning, encouragement to do activity; interaction includes sharing new experiences in learning, increasing the brain's capacity, express different topics, stimulation of learning; and motivation includes the cognitive function of the brain, challenging learning and enjoyable learning.
Conclusion: The results showed that the curriculum is based on a brain-centered approach with an emphasis on goals, content, teaching and evaluation methods, which is designed with an emphasis on interaction and motivation.
