The changing global conditions and the emergence of new influential factors in international politics underscore
the significance of culture in advancing national interests, achieving goals, and enhancing relations between
countries. Culture is now recognized as a form of soft power, which holds the potential to exert influence and sway
governments. Cultural interactions, by establishing platforms based on shared identity and cultural values, have
the capacity to shape the process of convergence at regional and international levels. Central and South Asia, with
Tajikistan and Afghanistan at their core, have long been part of Iran's civilizational and cultural realm, extending
far beyond Iran's present political geography. This research adopts a descriptive-analytical nature and
methodology, with information gathered through library research and referencing reliable sources such as books,
articles, and documentary reports. The research findings reveal numerous cultural and identity commonalities
between Iran and the aforementioned countries, including the Persian language, music, and ancient shared customs.
These commonalities can serve as essential platforms for Iran in regional interactions and the establishment of a
new geographic region within this area.
