It is often said that knowledge and power are two sides of the same coin. But does this wisdom mean more knowledge? Or it means distinguishing what we should know and what we should not know. It is simpler that "sometimes we know that it is better if we don't know". Hence, we withdraw knowledge. We call this phenomenon " knowledge retrieval " and in the present study, we seek to investigate and discover it from the point of view of senior managers of the organization. The experience with senior managers in different organizations is the origin of this study. The results of this study show that from the set of behavioral strategies of managers, you can get your knowledge with your own power, but on the other hand, neglect and lack of transparency compete with knowledge. The current study is qualitative research that was conducted using the Q research method. Qualitative in this study is derived from informational interviews with 16 senior managers in the public sector. Findings suggest that, given organizational, environmental, and personal access, they sometimes "deliberately and consciously" withdraw knowledge and "ignore" evidence that contradicts their beliefs.
