Ecocriticism is an interdisciplinary science that studies the relationship between literature and the environment. The reason for choosing "The Giving Tree" by Silverstein and "The Treeless World" by Dehrizi as the subject of research is that both of them are children's books, picturebook, with an implied environmental theme and a common tree motif. Considering that The Giving Tree is one of the classic works of children's literature in the world; Therefore, it is a suitable meter for examining similar works in other nations. The present research examines the similarities and differences of the representations of environmental elements in the mentioned works with the approach of Deep Ecology and Ecofeminism using analytical-descriptive method. Deep Ecology was proposed by Arne Naess, a Norwegian philosopher, in opposition to Shallow Ecology. Deep ecology considers the understanding of the relationship between identity and nature dependent on identifying oneself with a larger Eco-sycle known as the "Ecological Self". Ecofeminism, by equating the place of women and nature in the male-centered system, accuses the theory of Ecological Self of neglecting the role of gender in the formation of environmental crises. This article seeks to answer how the environmental elements and the dual interaction between man and nature are represented in the mentioned stories. The result of this research shows that the dominant ecological representation in The Treeless World is in line with deep-ecologism and in opposition to ecofeminism, and in The Giving Tree, it is in line with Ecofeminism.
