Tschti s study attempted to investigate The effect of the CoRT Program to
developing creative to sample in basic school level fourth class in Aljazira
Abba. The study sample consisted of (114) pupils from grade 4 whom were
purposively chosen. (60) of the pupils were from El-Imam El-Mahdi Basic School
for Boys and (54) were from Bint Wahab Basic School for Girls. To achieve the
aims of the study, the researcher has used the experimental method in which the
one group design was applied. A pre-test was conducted to measure creativity
through the use of the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking. The first part of the
CoRT program (Breadth) was applied for (4) months in which pupils were given a
(45 minutes) period, twice per week. After completing the application of the
program, a post-test measure was conducted by using the same tool in the pre-test.
The study showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of
(0,000) in favor of the post-test application for the total level of creativity; and at
the level of (0,000) for the abilities of fluency, flexibility and originality. The study
showed no statistically significant difference in the two abilities of flexibility and
originality. It showed that there are statistically significant differences level for
creativity at the level of (0,005), and at the level of (0,000) for both fluency and
flexibility in favor of boys, whereas no statistically significant difference in the
ability of originality. Finally, in the light of the study findings, some suggestions
and recommendations for future studied were reached.
