بدن موضوعی فراتر از جسمیت است و روابط فردی و اجتماعی افراد را همواره تحت تأثیر قرار میدهد. سرمایه فرهنگی، مدیریت بدن افراد را به عنوان بخشی از سبک زندگی آنها تحت تأثیر قرار میدهد. اگرچه بدن برای همه افراد اهمیت دارد، ولی کیفیت وکمیت مدیریت به لحاظ جنسیت افراد یکسان نیست. هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی مقایسه جنسیتی تاثیر سرمایه فرهنگی بر مدیریت بدن است. روش این مطالعه، پیمایش و ابزار جمع آوری اطلاعات، پرسشنامه است. نمونه مورد مطالعه ۳۹۸ شهروند 18 تا 65 ساله شهر شیراز بوده که با روش نمونهگیری خوشهای چند مرحلهای انتخاب شدهاند. چارچوب نظری تحقیق بر مبنای نظریات بوردیو برای تبیین تأثیر سرمایه فرهنگی بر مدیریت بدن و نظریه فمینیستی برای توضیح تفاوتهای جنسیتی تدوین شده است. نتایج تحقیق حاکی از فزونی پرداختن زنان به مدیریت بدن و اهمیت جنسیت در تبیین مدیریت بدن است. همچنین سرمایههای فرهنگی عینیت یافته و تجسم یافته بر مدیریت بدن زنان و سرمایه فرهنگی عینیت یافته بر مدیریت بدن مردان تاثیر مثبت دارد. درحالی که سرمایه فرهنگی نهادینه شده تأثیری بر مدیریت بدن هیچ یک از دوگروه ندارد.
Abstract. Body is something beyond Substantiality and it always affects the individual and social relations. Cultural capital could influence body management as part of their lifestyle. Although the body is important for everyone, the quality and quantity of body management in terms of gender are not the same. The aim of this study is to examine gender comparison of cultural capital impact on the management body. The method was survey and data collected through questionnaire. The participants sample consisted of 398 citizens of Shiraz who 18-65 years old were selected by multistage cluster sampling method. Theoretical framework is based on Bourdieu's theories to explain the impact of cultural capital on body management and feminist theory was developed to explain gender differences. The results illustrate that excess of body management dealing with women and explain the importance of gender in the body management. As well as the objectified and embodied cultural capital and objectified cultural capital have positive effects on body management of women and men, respectively. While institutionalized cultural capital does not impact on the body management of any of these groups.
