خلاصة:
مدرنیسم و موانع اطلاق صفت مدرن به قالب غزلچکیدهشعر امروز با توجّه به تحوّل و دگرگونی‌های عظیم سه دهه‌ی اخیر، دچار دگرگونی‌های گسترده‌ای شده است. با این که قالب غزل، راه خود را پیدا کرد و با تغییر ماهیت، توانست دنیاهای تازه‌ای را تجربه کند و غزل معاصر به عنوان برجسته‌ترین قالب شعری، خوش درخشید، هدف نیما، شکستن نظام‌های عروضی و تغییر هویّت زبانی و محتوایی شعر بود؛ در حالی که غزل معاصر، فقط توانست بخشی از پیشنهادهای نیما ازجمله بحث شکستن روایت (عدم ساختار خطّی و روایی بر غزل) را تجربه کند. نگارندگان در این پژوهش به روش توصیفی – تحلیلی و مبتنی بر مطالعات بینرشته‌ای کتابخانه‌ای ادبیّات و فلسفه به این نتیجه دست یافتهاند که صرف دغدغه‌های درونی شعر و نزدیکی آن به دغدغه‌های شعر معاصر و داشتن زبان ساده و صمیمی، وسعت واژگانی و عناصر آشنا نمی‌توان آن را مدرن شمرد. قالب‌های شعر سنّتی برای شعر مدرن، مناسب نیستند. چون محدود، پیشبینی‌پذیر و آفاقی‌اند. درمقابل، شعر مدرن، نامحدود، پیش‌بینی‌ناپذیر و اَنـْفُسی است. پس غزلی را می‌توان مدرن (نوگرا) گفت که با بهره‌گیری از همه‌ی نشانه‌ها، کاملاً از گذشته قطع علاقه کند. غزلی که هم به گذشته انعطاف داشته باشد و هم بخشی از مدرنیسم را تأیید کند، غزل مدرن محسوب نمی‌شود و باید در بحث نوآوری از آن سخن گفت.
Today's poetry has undergone extensive changes due to the huge transformations of the last three decades. Even though the sonnet has found its own way through changing its nature and has, hence, been able to experience new worlds to the extent that the contemporary sonnet shines brilliantly as the most prominent form of poetry, Nima's goal was to break away from the prosody systems and change the linguistic and contextual identity of the poem. Indeed, the contemporary ghazal has only been successful in applying some of Nima's desired changes, such as breaking the narrative (lack of linear and narrative structure of the ghazal). Using a descriptive-analytical method based on interdisciplinary library studies of literature and philosophy, authors of this article have reached the conclusion that attributes like having contemporary poetic concerns, using a simple and intimate language, benefitting from vast vocabulary and introducing familiar elements are not enough to call ghazal “modern”. In other words, traditional poetry forms are not suitable for modern poetry because they are limited, predictable and universal. On the contrary, modern poetry is unlimited, unpredictable and subjective. So, a ghazal can be said to be modern (modern) if it completely loses interest in the past. A sonnet which is even remotely connected to the past and simultaneously introduces modernistic concerns, should not be considered as a modern sonnet; it should, rather, be discussed as innovative.

هرچند همان طور کـه گفتـه شـد، از غـزل - مثنـوي ، 43 نمونه هايي در ادبيات کلاسيک در دست است ، بايد گفت که گستردگي اين قالب شعري در ميان غـزل - پردازان معاصر بسيار چشمگير است ، بدان حد که ميتوان گفت از هر ده غزل سـراي نـوپرداز، دسـت کـم يکي در مجموعه اشعار خود، غزل - مثنوي دارد.
شعر، چه در قالب هاي سنتي سروده شود و چه در قالـب هـاي مـدرن ، 45 براي اينکه از يک اصالت حداقلي برخوردار باشد، بايد نوآورانه باشد؛ اما هر نـوآوري را نبايـد معـادل بـا مدرن بودن تلقي کرد.
ک: امين پور، ١٣٨٦: ١١) آنچه به عنوان مؤلفه هاي نوآوري ذکر شد، نـو شـدن از نـوع اول بـود؛ در حـالي کـه مدرنيسم و شعر مدرن ، نو شدن از نوع دوم است .
شاعر شعر مدرن به جاي آنکه نقطه ي آغاز فعاليت شعري خود را يک قالب از پيش متعين که پيش از او و بيرون از ذهن او تشکيل يافته است ، قرار دهد، از ذهـن خـود آغـاز مـيکنـد و متناسـب بـا موقعيـت ، مقوله هاي شاعرانه ي اساسا جديد را ميسازد.
