Abstract:
جنبش جنگل در دهه‌های نخست سده بیستم و هم زمان با شروع جنگ جهانی اول در گیلان به وقوع پیوست. با توجه به شرایط بحرانی جهان، روسیه، انگلستان،آلمان و عثمانی سعی داشتند از جنبش جنگل برای‌کامیابی‌های سیاسی خود سود جویند. شکل‌گیری انقلاب بلشویکی در روسیه و طرح انترناسیونالیسم جهانی و همچنین گرایش برخی از رهبران جنبش جنگل به بلشویزم، وحشت انگلیسی‌ها را برانگیخت و این موضوع موجب دخالت آنها در مسائل مربوط به جنبش گشت. از سوی دیگر، سایر دولت‌های درگیر جنگ نظیرآلمان و عثمانی به طور غیرمستقیم از جنبش حمایت می‌کردند. کشمکش دولت‌های بزرگ بر سر جنبش جنگل، به دلیل موقعیت ژئوپلیتیکی شمال ایران و اهمیت منطقه قفقاز برای نیروهای درگیر در جنگ بود. یافته‌های تحقیق بیانگر آن است‌که هدف واقعی برخی کشورها از این کشمکش‌ها، در فشار قرار دادن دولت تازه‌تاسیس شوروی و برخی دیگر درگیرنمودن رقیب سیاسی خود در شمال ایران و دستیابی به منافع‌شان در ایران بود. برآیند این سیاست‌ها موجب ناکامی جنبش جنگل گشت. بر این اساس، پرسش اصلی پژوهش مبتنی بر آن است که دولت‌های بزرگ چه نگرش‌ها و اهدافی را در برابر جنبش جنگل دنبال می‌کردند؟ فرضیة مقاله معطوف به آن است که جنبش جنگل به دلیل هم زمانی وقوع آن با جنگ جهانی اول و واقع‌شدن در همسایگی قفقاز، مورد توجه ویژه دولت‌های بزرگ قرار گرفت و این مساله موجب شد تا آینده جنبش جنگل در کشمکش دولت‌های بزرگ تحت تاثیر اهداف سیاسی آن دولت‌ها قرار گیرد.
The forest movement took place in the early decades of the twentieth century, at the same time as the outbreak of World War I in Gilan. Given the critical conditions of the world, Russia, Britain, Germany and the Ottomans tried to use the forest movement for their own political ends. The emergence of the Bolshevik revolution in Russia and the plan of world internationalism, as well as the tendency of some forest movement leaders to Bolshevism, aroused the British panic, and this interfered with the movement's issues. On the other hand, other war-torn states, such as the Germans and the Ottomans, indirectly supported the movement. The struggle of the big states over the forest movement was due to the geopolitical position of northern Iran and the importance of the Caucasus region to the forces involved in the war. The findings indicate that some countries' real purpose in these struggles was to pressurize the newly established Soviet government and others to engage their political rival in northern Iran and pursue their interests in Iran. As a result of these policies, the forest movement failed. Accordingly, the main research question is what attitudes and goals did the large governments pursue towards the forest movement? The paper hypotheses that the forest movement, due to its coincidence with World War I and its neighborhood in the Caucasus, was of particular interest to large states, and this led to the future of the forest movement in the conflict of large states influenced by its political goals.
