Abstract:
هدف اصلی پژوهش حاضر، ارزیابی وجود دستکاری سود در شرکتهای درمانده مالی و همچنین تأثیر نقش مالکیت دولتی و کمیته حسابرسی در تعدیل این ارتباط میباشد. بدین منظور، نخست شرکتهای نمونه که از بین شرکتهای پذیرفتهشده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران (جامعهی آماری) و به روش غربالگری (اعمال شرایط در جامعه) انتخاب شدند، در ادامه بر اساس متغیرهای پژوهش با استفاده از قانون بنفورد به بررسی وجود یا عدم وجود دستکاری سود در شرکتهای درمانده مالی پرداخته شد. نتایج آزمون فرضیهها بر اساس دادههای (648 سال -شرکت) صورتهای مالی حسابرسی شده شرکتهای نمونه طی سالهای 1387 الی 1395 نشان میدهد که مدیران شرکتهای درمانده مالی اقدام به دستکاری سود میکنند و در حقیقت ارقام سود در این نوع شرکتها از قانون بنفورد تبعیت نمیکنند و اگر شرکتها دارای مالکیت دولتی باشد تغییری در عدم تبعیت شرکتها از قانون بنفورد ندارد. دیگر نتایج پژوهش نیز نشان میدهد کمیته حسابرسی نقش خود را در شرکتهایی که دچار درماندگی مالی میباشند بهخوبی ایفا نمیکنند بهطوریکه در این شرکتها، نیز ارقام سود از قانون بنفورد تبعیت نمیکنند.
The main purpose of the present study is to evaluate the existence of earnings manipulation in financially distressed companies, as well as the role of existence of governmental ownership in modifying this relationship. For this purpose, firstly the sample companies were selected among the companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange (the statistical population), through screening method (applying the conditions in the population), and then, based on the considered variables using Benford Law, the existence or absence of earnings manipulation in each group of companies was examined. The hypotheses test results based on the data (648 year-company) of the audited financial statements of the sample companies for a 9-year period (2008 to 2016) indicate that managers of financially distressed companies have manipulated the earnings, and in fact, the earnings figures in these types of companies do not follow Benford Law, and if the companies have an governmental ownership, there is no change in non-compliance of companies with Benford Law. and if the companies have an audit committee, there is no change in non-compliance of companies with Benford Law.
