Abstract:

One of the consequences of the long wars between Iran and the Ottoman Caliphate was the conclusion of numerous treaties and compromises. Most of the concluded contracts were based on Amasya agreement, in which it explicitly addresses the issue of holy shrines. Here, we examine six peace treaties in which the issue of holy shrines and the security of pilgrims are addressed. The main issue of the present study is to investigate the role and impact of the holy shrines and holy places on the spread and influence of Shiism in the Ottoman Empire. We also examine which of the agreements between the two countries have clauses dedicated to the Iranian pilgrims to the holy shrines and what obligations have the parties undertaken? The present study shows that creating security for Iranian pilgrims to the holy shrines and maintaining their sanctity has been one of the binding principles of the treaties. The Ottomans also reciprocally demanded that the Iranian Shiites refrain from cursing the three caliphs and Aisha, the wife of the Prophet (PBUH).

com مقدمه قرار گرفتن مقابر شش تن از پيشوايان ديني مورداحترام شيعيان در عراق ـ سرزمين به شدت موردمناقشۀ دو حکومت ـ که زيارت آن ها براي شيعه يک فريضه بود و رفت وآمد مداوم و پرشمار ايراني ها به عتبات ، همواره موجب بروز اختلافات گوناگون ميان دو کشور ميشد که گاهي منجر به جنگ هاي خونين بر سر تصاحب اين مناطق ميشد تا آنجا که تصرف عتبات عاليات به عامل بسيار مهمي براي رقابت ميان صفويان و عثماني ها تبديل شده و جنبۀ حيثيتي براي دو طرف به خصوص ايراني ها، پيدا کرده بود. در اين مقاله سعي شده است به روابط پرتنش ميان اين دو حکومت مسلمان قدرتمند پرداخته شود و با مطالعه دقيق بندهاي موردتوافق صلح نامه هاي انعقادي ميان دو کشور، به اين سؤال اساسي پاسخ داده شود که عتبات عاليات - به عنوان عامل مؤثر نفوذ بيش ازپيش تشيع در عثماني- در اين معاهدات چه جايگاهي داشته اند؟ در مورد پيشينۀ تحقيق حاضر لازم به اشاره است که در عمدة تحقيقات ، بيشتر به مسئلۀ حج و حجاج ايراني توجه شده است و در کنار آن ، عتبات و مسائل مربوط به آن ها مورد بررسي قرارگرفته اند، چراکه حج و زيارت عتبات در اين دوره به شدت به هم آميخته بودند. اين اثر به ويژه از لحاظ اطلاعاتي که پيرامون روابط ايران و عثماني در دوره صفويه (از طهماسب اول تا روزگار شاه صفي) ارائه ميدهد حائز اهميت است و نيز منشآت السلاطين در دو جلد که توسط فريدون بيگ تأليف شده است و در آن ١٨٨٠سند تاريخي موجود است که از نامۀ پيامبر به قيصر روم آغاز شده تا مکاتبات سلطان مراد سوم را شامل ميشود.
