Abstract:
Due to the prevalence of information systems and technologies in the world, these systems have a variety of applications in life with different dimensions. Therefore, various industries, including warehousing, transportation, logistics and supply chain management, have benefited greatly from different technologies. Radio frequency identification system, which is a system for identifying and tracking various goods, is also one of these systems. In this research, first we try to introduce these systems and how these systems work. The purpose of this article is to review the applications of radio frequency identification system in logistics and supply chain during the years 1989 to 2020, of which 1.5% of articles between 1989 and 2000 and 5% between years. 2000 to 2005 and 21 percent between 2005 and 2010 and 9 percent between 2010 and 2015 and finally 64 percent of the articles during the years 2015 to 2020. These articles are divided at the time of their publication and this article has realized the wide application of this system in logistics and supply chain, especially during 2018 to 2020. Finally, by obtaining a number of solution approaches, it has reached less worked approaches that can be a basis for research of future.
