Abstract:
پژوهش حاضر تلاش دارد بر اساس ظرفیّت‌های شگرد ادبیِ آیرونی (آیرونی ساختاری) به چگونگی ایجاد سبک گروتسک مبتنی بر نظریۀ فیلیپ تامسن در رمان آدم‌خواران اثر ژان توله بپردازد. توله در این رمان برغم لحظات خنده‌دار اولیه، حسی از رعب، وحشت و همچنین ترس و عذاب را ایجاد می‌کند. مسئلۀ اصلی این است که چنین وضعیتی چگونه شکل می‌گیرد و آیرونی در شکل‌گیریِ سبک متن چه نقشی دارد. بر پایۀ این، در پژوهش پیش‌رو با استفاده از شیوۀ توصیفی- تحلیلی نمونه‌هایی از متن رمان آدم‌خواران را مورد بررسی قرار دادیم تا هدف از تاثیر آیرونیِ ساختاری بر تولید سبک گروتسک در این اثر تبیین شود. بدین منظور ابتدا تعریفی عام از آیرونی و گروتسک ارائه شد و سپس انواعی از آیرونی و کارکردهای آن را که در شکل‌گیریِ سبک گروتسک در رمان مورد بحث یاری‌رسان بودند، شرح و بسط دادیم. یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که در این اثر، آیرونیِ ناهمخوان، موقعیت، تقدیر و تراژیک با ایجاد موقعیت‌هایی دوگانه، وارونه، سرنوشت ناخواسته و تحمیلی و همچنین با به تصویر کشیدن فضایی غم‌انگیز و سیاه، عذاب‌آور و مشمئزکننده، سبب می‌شود نمودی گروتسکی در متن پدیدار شود با وجود اینکه این رمان تراژیک است، امّا طنز گزندۀ آن مخاطب را در کشاکش خنده و انزجار مبهوت می‌کند؛ این حسِّ ناهمگون و دوگانه در آدم‌خواران، حاصل انطباق آیرونی با برخی از عناصر گروتسک از منظر تامسن است. به طور کلی شاهد این امر هستیم که آیرونی‌های ناهمخوان، موقعیّت، تقدیر و تراژیک در رمان مورد بحث تأثیر بسزایی در ایجاد سبک گروتسک داشته است.
The present research aims to study how the affordances of irony (structural irony) lead to the creation of the style of grotesque (according to Philip Thomson’s theory) in Jean Teule’s Eat Him If You Like [original title in French, Mangez-le Si Vous Voulez, translated into Persian as Adam-kharan]. Teule manages to create moments that seem humorous to begin with, but turn into scenes of threat, horror, and torment. The main question is how such a situation arises and what role does irony play in the development of the style of the text. Accordingly, in the present research we have used a descriptive-analytical method to study excerpts from Eat Him if You Like to delineate the influence of structural irony on the creation of the style of grotesque in this novel. For this purpose, first a general definition of irony and grotesque is presented and then different types of irony and their functions which are conducive to the creation of the style of grotesque in this novel are discussed. Findings of the research indicate that in this novel, different types of irony such as dramatic, situational, cosmic and tragic, create two-fold, reversed, unwanted and imposed situations as well as a bleak, disturbing and disgusting atmosphere, which lead to the development of grotesque in the text.
