Abstract:
نوشتارِ حاضر سعی می‌کند با بررسی خاستگاه‌های شرق‌شناسانه جامعه‌شناسی، امکان‌های نظری برای پژوهش درونماندگار تاریخ و جامعه‌شناسی را ردیابی کند. بر همین اساس، ابتدا به خواستگاه‌های هگلی و اروپامحورِ جامعه‌شناسی می‌پردازیم و تناظرِ ماتریالِ آن در نظریه مارکس را نشان می‌دهیم. در گامِ بعدی پیوندِ جامعه‌شناسی و شرق‌شناسی را مورد توجه قرار می‌دهیم و نشان می‌دهیم با غلبه نظریه مدرنیزاسیون در جامعه‌شناسی و با ابتاء بر تاریخِ هگلی و تناظرِ مارکسیتی‌اش، تاریخ جوامعِ شرقی در فرایندی تک‌خطی قرار گرفت که پیش‌فرض‌هایش بر «سکون»، «ایستایی» و در نهایت «تاریخِ غیاب» استوار بود. بر همین اساس، این ادعا را مطرح می‌کنیم که جامعه‌شناسی در رایج‌ترینِ گونه‌هایش چیزی جز مطالعه آنچه غرب دارد و شرق فاقدِ آن است، نیست. در گامِ بعدی به این نکته اشاره می‌کنیم که فردِ تاریخیِ وبر می‌تواند مسیری را برای برون رفت از این مخمصه نظری ارائه دهد ولی فردِ تاریخی به دلیل تنش‌ها و تناقض‌های درونی وبر، در نهایت به نفعِ سوژه نوکانتی به عقب می‌نشیند. در گامِ نهایی به تبارشناسی فوکویی اشاره می‌کنیم و استدلال می‌کنیم که تبارشناسی فوکویی امکانِ نظری برای تاریخ درونماندگار را فراهم می‌کند.
This article examines the theoretical possibilities of writing the history of the present. In order to do so, it examines Eurocentric origins of Hegelian philosophy and its materialist counter- concepts in Marx and his philosophy. The article then tries to problematize sociology as a “scientific” discourse which is heavily reliant on the orientalist discourse with its Hegelian conceptions of history and society in the Orient. The article then argues that historical sociology is inherently western-oriented and reduces oriental histories and societies to their “absent” elements. In order to escape this theoretical dilemma, the article proposes Weber’s “historical individual” as a theoretical concept that’s capable of offering a perspective to study the history of nonwestern societies immanently. But, it’s argued, Weber’s historical individual ultimately rests on Weber’s neo-Kantian subject which deprives it of its potential to offer an immanent critique. The article then argues that Foucault’s genealogy is the best strategy to study the histories and society of non-western non-reductively and immanently.
