Abstract:
Today, human presence in the physical space has become rare due to neglect of the spatial realm, and this has caused a decrease in social communication, especially in the spaces of mosques. There are methods for examining spatial and motor identity as well as physical capabilities. Spatial arrangement is one of these methods, which includes a set of methods and theories that study the mutual effect of spatial configuration structure and organization and social behaviors. This method has received more attention in historical buildings because it enables the analysis of the spatial relationships of the buildings. The purpose of this research is to analyze the behavioral pattern of quantitative and qualitative results in evaluating the movement identity and the characteristics of the spatial territory of mosques over time from the constitution until now. This study is a case study that is done from the description, analysis, and logical reasoning using library studies and field observations, facilitation of circulation, and relationships between spaces has been decreasing until the 40th period and then increasing, and the highest flow is related to the middle space of mosques. the space of mosques is considered more public from the constitutional period until now, and communication between spaces has become easier. Spatial integration has progressed steadily up to the 60-year trend period and after that, more integration can be seen in the direction of the extension of the plan. Spatial separation has taken place in mosques in all historical periods in a constant process.
